Saturday March 6, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Vice Mayor Pro-Tem Gonzalez invites all to attend this year’s GO Green Career and Resource Fair. The event is held in partnership with SER- Jobs for Progress. It will take place at the Harris County Department of Education located at 6300 Irvington Boulevard in the meeting room, 1st floor. The event is open to the public and all who are interested in Green Jobs Training or Going Green are highly encouraged to attend. Some featured career opportunities will include specialized training in Solar / Thermal Panel Installation, Weatherization, and more!
