Children across District H will be kicking off a new school year on Monday – many of them for their very first time!
The first day of school can be exciting, but also a little overwhelming for parents and students alike. To help us all get prepared and organized, I thought I’d pass on a few recommendations:
- Ensure your child’s immunizations are up to date.
Learn about Texas requirements » - Plan healthy breakfasts and lunches.
Review some ideas here » - Line up homework help in advance.
It just takes a little preparation. Learn How » - Save money on school supplies.
Read about some great tips » - Arrange for budget-friendly home internet.
Learn about the Internet Essentials Program »
I know all families are busy this time of year and these examples have helped our family start off the school year healthy, prepared, and motivated. I hope you and yours will find value in them as well.
I want to wish all of the parents, teachers, and kids a very safe and happy first day of school. Study hard, and have fun learning!
