Constituent Spotlight: Mr. Barelas

Council Member Gonzalez celebrated a very special birthday last weekend. True American hero, businessman, community leader, and family man: Mr. Marcos Barelas turned 90 years young on October 2.
Mr. Barelas is a WWII veteran who served in the Army between 1942 and 1945. To this day, he remains sharp and active, always smiling and with a great story to tell. He’s a proud District H resident and it was an honor to spend time with him during a very special celebration which included neighbors, friends, and family.
