Council Member Ed Gonzalez is a native-born Houstonian and life long resident of District H.
Ed’s family first settled in Houstonʼs Near Northside, and later moved to the heart of the Houston Heights. His mother and father were business owners in District H for over 30 years. This experience helped Ed realize the importance of small businesses in maintaining a strong local economy.
Ed is a graduate of the University of Houston – Downtown and received a graduate degree from Houston’s University of St. Thomas.
