As we anticipate the Veterans Day holiday on Monday, the District H team is proud to announce our 2nd Annual Troop Drive in partnership with Operation Interdependence and the City of Houston’s Office of Veteran Affairs. Starting today and running through November 30th, we will be working with select Kroger and Walgreens stores in District H to collect goods to send to our active military members overseas. Council Member Gonzalez recently hosted a town hall meeting to address citizens’ traffic concerns at the McGallion and Bauman intersections. Temporary solutions had been tested prior to the meeting, but it had become clear that a permanent fix was in order.
